The rubber industry has to fight plagiarism more and more, because an imitated product is not only disturbing but could also prove dangerous, for example when the expected quality of a product is not satisfactory.

In the area of conveyor belts this can lead to long and expensive production downtime or a reduction in production efficiency. In the worst case, plagiarism can also place human life in danger, since safety in the working place is dependent on the reliability and safety of product performance.

Seri Plastica is developing a product line, which will enable information concerning the origin of the rubber products, to be labeled on the product, either visibly or hidden, as required.
