Seri Plastica GmbH specializes in marking rubber products such as tires, drive belts, patches, mats, hoses, conveyor belts, and other technical products made of rubber. We see ourselves as a leading partner of the tire and motorsport industry. The automotive sector and the technical rubber industry are also among our customers, and we provide them with support that focuses on solutions, partnership, service, and reliability. We sell our high-quality products, which are applied during or after vulcanization, throughout the world under the brand names Gummette®, Rubberette®, ID Coded Rubberette®, Vulkanette®, Mepolette® and Fixette®. The product range also includes printing of barcodes and 2D codes. In addition to our specialization in rubber labeling, we have three of our own brands: DIGITAL SERI® produces high-quality digital prints as advertising materials, for trade fairs and store fitting, SERI MATS® is our own brand for individually printed office, gaming, sports and fitness mats and T-PIMP® is our brand for customized tire stickers.

Seri Plastica was founded in 1986 and employs 50 highly qualified staff in product development, graphics and design, production, management, administration, and logistics. Our team is characterized by its commitment and independent approach to work. We are located in Feldkirchen near Munich. We have our own color laboratory and modern machinery with various printing and cutting machines, vulcanizing presses, and other special machines for rubber processing. From development to the finished product, we place the highest demands on the quality of our work and are constantly developing our processes. As a successful company, we take responsibility for the environment. We use resources conscientiously and sparingly. Of course, we also comply with all health and safety regulations.

The triumphal march of Vulkanette® begins
A brand is born
Vulkanette® is registered as an independent trademark. This makes it possible to produce a rubber label that can be vulcanized in one step for the first time.

Seri Plastica GmbH is founded
The company launches with 15 employees in Pasing
Seri Plastica opens in Pasing as a classic screen-printing company with corporate customers from the advertising and industrial sectors. Numerous products from the screen-printing segment are part of the wide-ranging portfolio of the new company. Typical orders include signs, stickers, posters, and transfers for various applications on plastic and textile. In addition to the advertising industry, other industrial B2B customers are also among the buyers of Seri Plastica’s products.

Seri Plastica moves to Feldkirchen
Establishment as a specialist in labeling rubber products
The move from Pasing to Feldkirchen allows production capacity to be expanded. In the following years, the company will acquire more and more experience in the labeling of rubber products and eventually establishes itself as a sought-after specialist in this niche market. Large German industrial companies are acquired as customers.
The business grows, Formula 1 becomes a customer
The rubber labeling niche continues to expand in all subsectors – tires, drive belts, hoses, mats, patches, conveyor belts and technical rubber products. From 2006 Seri Plastica is the supplier of the tire sidewall lettering for Formula 1 racing.

Digital information made printable
Vulcanizable barcodes and numbering expand the product range
A spectacular in-house development provides an enormous boost from 2007 onwards: Customers can now have digital information such as barcodes and serial numbers in the form of a vulcanizable rubber label. The ID-coded Rubberette® begins its success story.
Excellent solution for tires and technical rubber goods
From now on, mainly black rubber products can be identified clearly by means of a colored, unique, and extremely durable label. The new application is very versatile in its uses for many rubber end products. The tire industry and the technical rubber industry in particular opt for this new solution.

2010
A change of managing director brings new impetus and a different strategy
Sebastian Schielein becomes Managing Director of Seri Plastica GmbH
The workforce now has 24 employees. The current management retires. With Sebastian Schielein as the new Managing Director, impetus and a breath of fresh air come into the company. The new man at the helm takes a close look at all the divisions of the company and defines two core areas – sales and investment – which will be developed further from 2012.

2012
Sales is reorganized and expanded
Seri Plastica pushes ahead with its internationalization
With the acquisition of the small company EOS-Presse Sommerfeld with four employees and the parallel development of a new sales team, the process of internationalization gets moving. The customer base is placed on a broader footing through the acquisition of EOS customers and through acquisitions on the part of the sales team.
Establishment of a worldwide distribution network
Until now, sales have concentrated mainly in Germany. From this point forward, Europeanization and globalization of the market of manufacturing companies is evident. Other European countries come into focus. Distribution is established worldwide.

2013
Seri Plastica invests in its technical development
New, modern machines are purchased
Seri Plastica invests continuously in modern machinery from 2013, including the acquisition of new, fully automatic web presses. These machines offer great leaps forward in capacity provision and expansion. The company takes advantage of the opportunities of automation and converts from a semi-automated process to a fully automated one.
Fixette® conquers the market
The expansion brings forth new products that were previously unthinkable - such as the development of Fixette®. This is a hot transfer label for rubber and is mainly used for sidewall labeling of tires. The new development quickly establishes itself on the market after the sampling phase, major customers are impressed by the product and are still using it today.

2018
Establishment of the DIGITAL SERI®, SERIMATS® and T-PIMP® brands
The Digital Printing division builds up and expands its own customer base
DIGITAL SERI® is expanded as an in-house brand and produces individually printed sports mats, yoga mats and large-format digital prints at a second site in Feldkirchen. With this expanded digital printing range, Seri Plastica® targets a completely new customer base to whom significant added value can be offered. In 2020 the SERI MATS® webshop goes online. Customers can now choose their favorite mat from existing designs or create them themselves using their own photos, text, and designs.
Individual and customized digital printing products
The aim of the new department is to produce highly individual products using the latest digital printing technology. T-PIMP® complements the range with a unique design that customers can put on their tires. DIGITAL SERI® uses exceptional materials as print substrates and delivers eco-certified prints of the highest quality.
